Anna Catherine Fiona Murdoch (nee MacLeod)

<p><p><p>Peacefully on August 21, 2010 at the Sutherland Hills Rest Home in Kelowna, British Columbia after a brief illness. Cherished mom of Nancy (Ian) and Norma (Ted). Beloved grandmother of Jennifer, Katherina, Ellie and Periklis. Adored GG (greatgrandmother) of Aurora and Owen. Predeceased by her husband Norman Shirley Murdoch, her parents Nancy Graham (nee Brown) and John Alexander MacLeod, her brothers Ian Graham McLeod and William Leslie MacLeod.</p> <p>She was born in Edmonton, Alberta. After the death of her mother while her father was overseas in WWI, she and her youngest brother Leslie were sent east and raised by their paternal grandmother, Catherine MacLeod (nee McIntyre) in Mount Stewart, Prince Edward Island. Their older brother Ian stayed in Edmonton and was raised by their maternal grandparents Annie (nee Graham) and William Brown. </p> <p>Thanks very much to the Sutherland Hills Rest Home owners and staff who treated mom with much love and dignity.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Catherine\'s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon.
